'Human Iceberg (2023)' is a project of publication by Lim Jina. The book depicts the process of melting the Human Iceberg due to the climate crisis through text(Lim Jina), image(Lee SunHo) and sound(Heejin Jang).

Heejin says:

Human Iceberg is a story about a subversion. This is a warning to the subliminal misunderstandings of humans in control of the earth, spoiling environments in the most aggressive way. The story starts from the point when the iceberg is completely melted out, and asks what will happen afterwards to the earth creatures.

The Giant Jellyfish, a lord of creation in space, as humans insist it in the earth, vacuuming human beings by swallowing up and stamping the trash out in the sea of death. Undermining the power dynamic, the destroyers become to be destroyed, the predators become a pile of prey.

Human Iceberg alerts the readers, the human beings, that there is no such an authority to take advantage of nature. It addresses that the human beings who ignore the devastation might be a virus to be swept away in a point of view from the cosmos.

The soundtracks depict barren fields after an iceberg melted away, following up the storyline as the human beings’ meltdown and its dead bodies flood in the wasteland. Even though a few survivors plan on subverting, this fires up the Giant Jellyfish’s wrath. The humans ended up dissolving into the stream of waste as they did to the iceberg.

This is a final notice to human beings from the macro existences out of the earth that the downfall is coming sooner than we guess.
